The top left photograph is one of those many shots that anyone who has visited Yellowstone National Park recognizes. It is the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River. No one interested in splendor stops to see the upper falls. So, what you have is the lower but higher water fall that everyone stops to see. The only difference is that this isn't one of their photographs it is one of mine. I have been visiting Yellowstone for at least 40 years and never get tired of stopping to see a waterfall or a geyser..
The photograph on the right can no longer be taken. Grand Coulee was modified and a new large power house was added on the left side. I haven't been back since it was finished. They now have a laser light show, which is much more impressive than shining colored flood lights on the dam.
A couple of closer shots of Multnoma Falls. They were taken by Reed Stewart on our way back to Richland from picking up Mike for his high school graduation trip.
